After a rather tough play, REAL VASCO RIO's Luciano Leão got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 21st minute, Pedrão Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee ignored REAL VASCO RIO's protests and gave Durvalino Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to REAL VASCO RIO getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Durvalino Sarmento hit a great ball. Romário Miner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romário Miner was the one to do the kick off. The referee gave Durvalino Sarmento a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Durvalino Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iurie Ivasiuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Percival Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Iurie Ivasiuc got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Cucu Miner got a free kick in the 69th minute. José Pedro Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Fernandes came free, but Pavel Milescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Milescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 95 played minutes REAL VASCO RIO got a freekick which was hit by Natã Nogueira. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because REAL VASCO RIO had won, even though CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM had held more of the ball.
