ADM Taquaras were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Mitnarotov FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michel Rüdiger took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Drogba in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hortêncio Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the game, Walmir Quintal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mitnarotov FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ADM Taquaras the free kick. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Mitnarotov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The coaching staff of Mitnarotov FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anselmo Cruz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hortêncio Sena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Michel Shevchenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hortêncio Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Gaúcho took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Décio Marinho. Décio Marinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Michel Shevchenko took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Hortêncio Sena to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Mitnarotov FC's Hortêncio Sena got control of the ball when Michel Shevchenko tried to sneak it across the goal line.
