Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 8th minute, Grozdan Grozev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Delphine Stars's zone, Vidyo Mariyanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcu Loghin came out of the goal and Vidyo Mariyanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Delphine Stars's Victor Mahonea got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mugur Gorcea kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of SPARROWS booed when Delphine Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Nenciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Benislav Bozov. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Benislav Bozov managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPARROWS's supporters rose to their feet, but Benislav Bozov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcu Loghin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Mugur Gorcea hit a great ball. The SPARROWS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Delphine Stars were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in SPARROWS's zone, Costică Vărzaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Milevski came out of the goal and Costică Vărzaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Tzvyatko Trifonov got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Emanuel Tiberiu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Delphine Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Tiberiu couldn't finish the play. After 68 played minutes, Delphine Stars's Victor Mahonea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adrian Milevski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Delphine Stars reached it. Tzvyatko Trifonov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marcu Loghin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
