William Jordan scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Chuse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blas Chuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Den Newland, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, William Jordan made a precise shot to the right of Blas Chuse. VIEDMA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Quirce during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Blas Chuse had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Jamal Dobson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jamie Mayfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Chuse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jamie Mayfield ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Jamie Mayfield ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blas Chuse was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jamie Mayfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Chuse having to interfere. Jamie Mayfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Ariando to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Jordan in the 53rd minute of play forced VIEDMA FC's goalkeeper Blas Chuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Den Newland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-0 when William Jordan sped through VIEDMA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Blas Chuse. Jamie Mayfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Blas Chuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Den Newland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blas Chuse. VIEDMA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Den Newland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. VIEDMA FC's Blas Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamie Mayfield in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, VIEDMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Den Newland came free, but Blas Chuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Den Newland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Chuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes, Barr Point's Alfred Doona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Blas Chuse came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barr Point reached it. Tadeo Donostia charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Donostia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tadeo Donostia kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Jamie Mayfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blas Chuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Jordan in the 95th minute of the match.
