Dewa Cinta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vesko Kanin in the 40th minute of play forced FCPorto's goalkeeper Dewa Cinta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Tzvyatko Trifonov put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dewa Cinta. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Cavaco to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, SPARROWS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Caldas came free, but Adrian Milevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Heitor Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SPARROWS's Vesko Kanin came free and shot a quick shot against goal 57 minutes in the game, fortunately Dewa Cinta had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 64 minutes into the match, FCPorto's goal looked a bit too open when Yosif Gergov came free, but Dewa Cinta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, SPARROWS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tzvyatko Trifonov to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 67 minutes, Yosif Gergov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPARROWS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yosif Gergov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Tzvyatko Trifonov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Vesko Kanin took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Dewa Cinta to make any attempt to save it. Dewa Cinta made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Vesko Kanin sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benislav Bozov in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dewa Cinta saved FCPorto from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benislav Bozov in the 91st minute of play forced FCPorto's goalkeeper Dewa Cinta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th match minute, FCPorto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Lobo to maneuver through the defense. SPARROWS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
