Costică Vărzaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sebastian Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Costică Vărzaru fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Delphine Stars's protests and gave Costică Vărzaru a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Tiberiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Martxot. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Sebastian Boni scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcu Loghin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute Emanuel Tiberiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Martxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marian Taşcău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Delphine Stars defense, Gabriel-Omar Hrabina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcu Loghin. The Delphine Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcu Loghin should have stopped the shot. Costică Vărzaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Julio Martxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stat Veritas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Costică Vărzaru scored to the left of an out of position Julio Martxot, making the score, 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marian Taşcău in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Martxot saved Stat Veritas FC from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Marian Taşcău got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Vasile Chira hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Cristobal Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stat Veritas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Frances was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcu Loghin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel-Omar Hrabina to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Stat Veritas FC booed when Delphine Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Ciorăscu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel-Omar Hrabina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Tiberiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Julio Martxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Stat Veritas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Chinto to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Tiberiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Gorcea to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Delphine Stars's Mugur Gorcea got a free kick in the 66th minute. Marian Taşcău scored 3-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Martxot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emil Rădoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Martxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Vărzaru in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Mugur Gorcea made a precise shot to the right of Julio Martxot. Stat Veritas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Delmiro Chinto kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Joel Luix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costică Ciorăscu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Marcu Loghin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Hrabina, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Cristobal Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Martxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Taşcău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Delphine Stars had won after a very even match.
