Sebastian Boni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Stat Veritas FC booed when FCPorto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Candeias didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel-Omar Hrabina during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Stat Veritas FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel-Omar Hrabina. After 21 minutes, Teodoro Cavaco made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Stat Veritas FC's Julio Martxot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FCPorto getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Hamilton Bacelar hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Stat Veritas FC's Gabriel-Omar Hrabina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 37 minutes of play, FCPorto's Alfredo Lobo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Martxot was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 45 played minutes FCPorto got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Candeias. 47 minutes into the game, Heitor Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCPorto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stat Veritas FC the free kick. Heitor Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Stat Veritas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FCPorto were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Teodoro Cavaco made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FCPorto defense, Sebastian Boni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dewa Cinta. The FCPorto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dewa Cinta should have stopped the shot. Gabriel-Omar Hrabina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FCPorto getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jairo Matos hit a great ball. When Manuel Candeias fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCPorto's protests and gave Manuel Candeias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, FCPorto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Candeias to maneuver through the defense. Stat Veritas FC's Gabriel-Omar Hrabina got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Boni in the 73rd minute of play forced FCPorto's goalkeeper Dewa Cinta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Gabriel-Omar Hrabina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dewa Cinta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Hrabina in the 76th minute of play forced FCPorto's goalkeeper Dewa Cinta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stat Veritas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel-Omar Hrabina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Fernan Weather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stat Veritas FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
