Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Jonny Emander started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yanislav Plachkov in the 5th minute of play forced The Reds's goalkeeper Bernt Nässén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Minko Búrnev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SPARROWS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Reds's Bernt Nässén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minko Búrnev in the 11th minute of play. When Konstantin Shumarov fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPARROWS's protests and gave Konstantin Shumarov a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Shumarov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonny Emander in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genko Dankin saved SPARROWS from getting behind. After 16 minutes SPARROWS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pontus Lundström who took care of the corner kick. SPARROWS's Genko Dankin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Carlsson in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Minko Búrnev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernt Nässén was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Yanislav Plachkov came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the SPARROWS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yanislav Plachkov couldn't finish the play. Yanislav Plachkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Minko Búrnev to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Tor Bjursell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Genko Dankin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes in the game, Viggo Carlsson dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Delyan Kovanov got a free kick in the 64th minute. SPARROWS made a substitution. Benislav Vodenov replaced Yosif Gergov. SPARROWS made a substitution. Naycho Strashilov replaced Delyan Kovanov. In the 65th minute, Delyan Kovanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Jonny Emander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genko Dankin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Bergström in the 76th minute of play forced SPARROWS's goalkeeper Genko Dankin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of The Reds booed when SPARROWS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svetlozar Florov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yanaki Dimanov kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The The Reds fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SPARROWS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
