Spectators: 7568 (Terracing: 5677, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) SPARROWS's Minko Búrnev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yanislav Plachkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Xande Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Xandinho Kane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genko Dankin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, SPARROWS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minko Búrnev to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xandinho Kane in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genko Dankin saved SPARROWS from getting behind. In the 14thth minute of the game Xandinho Kane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SPARROWS's Genko Dankin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho de Amorim. 20 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xande Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Gebrev. The supporters of SPARROWS booed when New Joinville - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lamine Xande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genko Dankin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xandinho Kane's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Yanaki Dimanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SPARROWS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Joinville - FSCMZ the free kick. Valentin Gebrev in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xande Buffon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicolas De la Cruz struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Genko Dankin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Joinville - FSCMZ. Valentin Gebrev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xande Buffon came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentin Gebrev slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 44th minute. Minko Búrnev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xande Buffon having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Valentin Gebrev fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPARROWS's protests and gave Valentin Gebrev a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when SPARROWS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Gebrev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Lamine Xande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genko Dankin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xandinho Kane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genko Dankin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Emílio Martins replaced Durvalino Travassos. SPARROWS made a substitution. Vesko Kanin replaced Grozdan Grozev. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Robinho de Souza was substituted for Xande Musiala. In the 64th minute of the match New Joinville - FSCMZ got a corner. SPARROWS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacob Santalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xandinho Kane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, SPARROWS's Genko Dankin got control of the ball when Xandinho Kane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lamine Xande in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genko Dankin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lamine Xande charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lamine Xande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Lamine Xande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Valentin Gebrev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xande Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vesko Kanin in the 84th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xande Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
