Jude Bonham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Tiberiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Brett Leeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes, Marian Taşcău mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delphine Stars and the Barr Point players grew even worse after the yellow card. Den Newland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Den Newland in the 21st minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Marcu Loghin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Tiberiu in the 24th minute of play forced Barr Point's goalkeeper Jude Bonham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Tiberiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jude Bonham was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Denis Nenciu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jude Bonham was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jude Bonham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Taşcău in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Tiberiu came free, but Jude Bonham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Barr Point getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Brett Leeson hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Brett Leeson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Tiberiu to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barr Point's goalkeeper Jude Bonham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jamie Mayfield didn't quite understand what happened when in the 59 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Denis Nenciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamie Mayfield in the 79th minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Marcu Loghin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Rădoi to maneuver through the defense.
