Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Progresul Pitesti from getting a goal against them. Peter Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ciociu having to interfere. Alfred Vallengren succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Alfred Vallengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Victor Ciociu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Progresul Pitesti from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Sparka & Spring BK's zone, Dragoş Oloieru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Västberg came out of the goal and Dragoş Oloieru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Ciociu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Progresul Pitesti's Dragoş Oloieru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göran Västberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ingvar Colin might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Ciociu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Colin ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Victor Ciociu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Lindström. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Colin in the 44th minute of play. Victor Ciociu came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Sparka & Spring BK's Ingvar Colin. But to his dismay, Ingvar Colin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred Vallengren to make the kick off. A collision led to Progresul Pitesti getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Aristide Cordescu hit a great ball. Ingvar Colin succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. Alfred Vallengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ciociu having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Ingvar Colin made a precise shot to the right of Victor Ciociu. Progresul Pitesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Colin in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Ciociu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the game, Alfred Vallengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Victor Ciociu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horaţiu Manafu during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Progresul Pitesti getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Horaţiu Manafu hit a great ball. When Ingvar Colin came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Sparka & Spring BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Colin couldn't finish the play. In the 74thth minute of the game Alfred Vallengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Sparka & Spring BK's Ingvar Colin made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Ciociu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victor Ciociu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Colin in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Sparka & Spring BK's Ingvar Colin made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Ciociu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Ingvar Colin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lucian Panțuru fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Progresul Pitesti's protests and gave Lucian Panțuru a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Progresul Pitesti got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Panțuru. When Sparka & Spring BK's Alfred Vallengren in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Progresul Pitesti's goalie prevented a goal. Victor Ciociu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Colin in the 99th minute of the match.
