The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Mendes during the 5th minute. Alfredinho Andrade didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Vânderson Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Konurbano Atletico's Desiderio Millan got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alfredinho Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Tibalt in the 23rd minute. Santo Tibalt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Alfredinho Andrade made a huge save. Alfredinho Andrade came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Konurbano Atletico's Santo Tibalt. But to his dismay, Santo Tibalt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Ezkerra got free with Alfredinho Andrade in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Everardo Ezkerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Konurbano Atletico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 37th minute Zeledon Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Mendes came free, but Denis Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Tanio in the 48th minute of play.

Alfredinho Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Denis Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Quexal in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Konurbano Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Ezkerra to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Galo do Cerrado defense, Gilberto Tanio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredinho Andrade. The Galo do Cerrado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredinho Andrade should have stopped the shot. Alfredinho Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Tibalt, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Galo do Cerrado's Alfredinho Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Tibalt in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Gilberto Tanio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredinho Andrade. Galo do Cerrado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Tanio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After 85 played minutes Konurbano Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Millan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Tanio in the 87th minute of play forced Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Alfredinho Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, José Carlos Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
