The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dobromir Cwenar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Szczakersi RACIBUR getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dobromir Cwenar hit a great ball. Inácio Pádua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Brack having to make a save. Leon Brack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Luna, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Szczakersi RACIBUR's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Luna came free, but Leon Brack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Szczakersi RACIBUR got a freekick which was hit by Klement Balkiewicz. 15 minutes into the match, Szczakersi RACIBUR's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Caneira came free, but Leon Brack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Leon Brack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Cwenar came free, but João Carvalhais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Szczakersi RACIBUR's zone, Antonio Calisto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Brack came out of the goal and Antonio Calisto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when Szczakersi RACIBUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Dabrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Edson Leme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Brack showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Carlos Luna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szczakersi RACIBUR's Leon Brack was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Szczakersi RACIBUR's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Luna came free, but Leon Brack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Szczakersi RACIBUR defense, Carlos Luna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Brack. The Szczakersi RACIBUR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Brack should have stopped the shot. Inácio Pádua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Brack read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Caneira in the 44th minute of play forced Szczakersi RACIBUR's goalkeeper Leon Brack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Gremio Viana were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patryk Dziuma was the one to do the kick off. Gremio Viana's João Carvalhais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Cwenar in the 55th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Gremio Viana's Carlos Luna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Brack made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Szczakersi RACIBUR getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Patryk Brack hit a great ball. Szczakersi RACIBUR's Leon Brack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Caneira in the 69th minute of play. Gremio Viana's Carlos Luna was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Szczakersi RACIBUR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gremio Viana:s goal. If Carlos Luna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Carlos Luna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremio Viana's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Luna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Brack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th match minute, Szczakersi RACIBUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Cwenar to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Luna's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leon Brack firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 95th minute, Alfred Trzemzalski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Luna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Inácio Pádua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gremio Viana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Pádua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gremio Viana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
