Domingo Johans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Tanio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Papato Tatengue's zone, Santo Tibalt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Johans came out of the goal and Santo Tibalt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Nicasio Vargas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Sadurni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Papato Tatengue's Sebastian Lawrence got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Nicasio Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Papato Tatengue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Vargas couldn't finish the play. Denis Sadurni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Vargas in the 58th minute of the match. Nicasio Vargas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nicasio Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Denis Sadurni made a huge save. Denis Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Vargas in the 70th minute of play. Denis Sadurni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Vargas's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The supporters of Konurbano Atletico booed when Papato Tatengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Santo Tibalt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Johans was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cristián Belgrano kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Papato Tatengue eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
