Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) João Carvalhais came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Psycho-Circus's Carolo Tanio. But to his dismay, Carolo Tanio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Antonio Calisto in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Psycho-Circus's Gaston Cedro. Gremio Viana's João Carvalhais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Cedro in the 8th minute of play. Carlos Luna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Stanley having to interfere. From close distance Carlos Luna pressed in the 1-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 13 minutes into the game. José Ventura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Celestino Mantzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Psycho-Circus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gremio Viana the free kick. A collision led to Psycho-Circus getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Celestino Mantzio hit a great ball. If Carlos Luna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaston Cedro scored 1-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Carvalhais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Carvalhais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Carlos Luna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gremio Viana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 34th match minute, Psycho-Circus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Tanio to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Nuno Durães in the 36th minute really tested Paul Stanley's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. José Ventura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gremio Viana's Mohamed Ali Bomba quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Celestino Mantzio, made in the 42nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Dante Elodio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Psycho-Circus's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Elodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Carvalhais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Carvalhais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Cedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carolo Tanio to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Gremio Viana's João Carvalhais got control of the ball when Carolo Tanio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute Carlos Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Stanley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Carvalhais made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Gaston Cedro sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Luna came free, but Paul Stanley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Psycho-Circus defense, Carlos Luna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Stanley. The Psycho-Circus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Stanley should have stopped the shot. Psycho-Circus made a substitution. Marcelino Lartaun replaced Carolo Tanio. 78 minutes in the game Celestino Mantzio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gaston Cedro. In the 91st minute Carlos Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Stanley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gremio Viana's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
