The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoltán Borsó got free with Denis Sadurni in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sakálok's Szabolcs Szélesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Ponce in the 20th minute of play. Serafin Orlin lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 21 minutes into the game, one of Konurbano Atletico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Denis Sadurni had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Félix Domonkos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 28th minute, Santo Tibalt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Szabolcs Szélesi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Szabolcs Szélesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Tibalt in the 32nd minute of play. Denis Sadurni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Félix Domonkos in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes Konurbano Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Tanio. Denis Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Borsó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Félix Domonkos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Denis Sadurni made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Borsó in the 53rd minute of play forced Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Denis Sadurni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, Konurbano Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Ponce to maneuver through the defense. Szabolcs Szélesi came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Konurbano Atletico's Zeledon Ponce. But to his dismay, Zeledon Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 59th minute Zoltán Borsó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Sadurni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Sadurni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Borsó in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Borsó in the 65th minute of play forced Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Denis Sadurni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Domonkos in the 66th minute of play. Félix Domonkos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Sadurni having to interfere. Sakálok's Ádám Gere was substituted for Norbert Bencsik. The supporters of Konurbano Atletico booed when Sakálok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakab Zombori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Holzhauser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Sakálok's Szabolcs Szélesi got control of the ball when Santo Tibalt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Zeledon Ponce almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sakálok's Szabolcs Szélesi did a great save. In the 91stth minute of the game Rafael Holzhauser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Konurbano Atletico's Denis Sadurni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denis Sadurni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Borsó, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Denis Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Domonkos in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Konurbano Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes, Sakálok's Attila Nagy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Denis Sadurni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sakálok reached it. 96 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Domonkos came free, but Denis Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
