Benicio Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Qwinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Claudio Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Villa Mitre City booed when Atlético Nuevo Laredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Matro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Javiero made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Fausto Peruxu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Qwinton got free with Benicio Javiero in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeremias Ramone struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Claudio Senio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Nuevo Laredo. When Hugo Medardo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Villa Mitre City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Medardo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Villa Mitre City getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Aldo Qwinton hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes Conrado Raymond rounded Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After having played for 43 minutes, Aldo Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Mitre City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Qwinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Villa Mitre City's Matias Tulio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benicio Javiero. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. With a little luck, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero got control of the ball when Conrado Raymond tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Eguzki to strike the kick off in the second half. Aldo Qwinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benicio Javiero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Javiero came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Mitre City's Aldo Qwinton. But to his dismay, Aldo Qwinton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hugo Medardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Javiero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Villa Mitre City's Matias Tulio made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Javiero was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Villa Mitre City getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Geronimo Beti hit a great ball. Benicio Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Tulio in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Amador Guipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Tulio in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Villa Mitre City fully deserved thier win.
