The referee ignored Loco De Remate's protests and gave Benigno Nayely a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Nayely to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Dolcet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Băieșu in the 3rd minute of play. Pedro Dolcet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Băieșu in the 6th minute of the match. Iván Villafane struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Pedro Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuatrodeocho. Alvaro Resto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidor Balboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Pedro Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Băieșu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. José Planes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Dolcet having to interfere. Isidor Balboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Resto in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes Cuatrodeocho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jose Lopez who took care of the corner kick. Alvaro Resto was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 36 minutes, Horea Băieșu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuatrodeocho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horea Băieșu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Horea Băieșu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Loco De Remate's Pedro Dolcet. Pedro Dolcet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Loco De Remate defense, Horea Băieșu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Dolcet. The Loco De Remate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Dolcet should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Băieșu in the 47th minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Pedro Dolcet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horea Băieșu to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Cuatrodeocho's Pedro Dolcet threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horea Băieșu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th minute, Arnaldo Gutxi made a precise shot to the right of Isidor Balboa. Cuatrodeocho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Arnaldo Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidor Balboa having to interfere. Segundo Favila kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, José Planes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Dolcet. José Planes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Horea Băieșu in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Dolcet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Loco De Remate's Pedro Dolcet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Loco De Remate from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Planes in the 76th minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Pedro Dolcet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belo Sauca hit a great ball. Pedro Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Băieșu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Iván Villafane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuatrodeocho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Pedro Dolcet made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Belo Sauca sent off a good shot on target. The Loco De Remate players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
