If Beto Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cuatrodeocho's Horea Băieșu in 41 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. João Carlos Oliveira guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Horea Băieșu put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of João Carlos Oliveira.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Willian Paes to make the kick off. S.C. Ferrari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuatrodeocho the free kick.
