Dennis Säfström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Paes in the 4th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Duda das Neves managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thomas Pedersson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Åke Bivall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Oliveira having to interfere. Amauri Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Jakob Hellqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sannegården BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Hellqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Benne Speed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sannegården BK fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Sannegården BK's Åke Bivall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sannegården BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Aloísio Mangueira scored to the left of an out of position Dennis Säfström, making the score, 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, Sannegården BK's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Guedes came free, but Dennis Säfström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willian Paes scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Säfström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Guedes in the 47th minute of play forced Sannegården BK's goalkeeper Dennis Säfström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willian Paes was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Sannegården BK booed when S.C. Ferrari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Sannegården BK's Åke Bivall tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Thomas Pedersson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Carlos Oliveira. The goal made the score 2-2. 73 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's Beto Guedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Säfström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Beto Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the S.C. Ferrari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Guedes couldn't finish the play. S.C. Ferrari's Rui de Lima was substituted for Elano Galvão. S.C. Ferrari's Váldson do Vale was substituted for Kléberson Sabóia. Dennis Säfström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Paes in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, S.C. Ferrari's Salomão Borges seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Salomão Borges the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of S.C. Ferrari protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Salomão Borges had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. S.C. Ferrari:s João Carlos Oliveira showed great skill when he stopped Åke Bivall:s penalty. After 90 played minutes Sannegården BK got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Pedersson. In the 94th match minute, S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda das Neves to maneuver through the defense.
