Tobiasz Zawadzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobías Astorga in the 9th minute of play. Benicio Javiero made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Iker Boruc sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Boruc got free with Benicio Javiero in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Iker Boruc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Atlético Nuevo Laredo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobías Astorga to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Florencio Eguzki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobiasz Zawadzki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 31st play minute Iker Boruc came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benicio Javiero. 1-1. Iker Boruc was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Atlético Nuevo Laredo getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ramiro Llorienzo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobías Astorga in the 42nd minute of play forced GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goalkeeper Tobiasz Zawadzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's attentive Witomir Lato managed to snatch the ball when Zeledon Chale made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Iker Boruc reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benicio Javiero. The goal made the score 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Boruc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's attentive Tanek Prus managed to snatch the ball when Mateo Eneto made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Tobiasz Zawadzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Eguzki in the 62nd minute of the match. Ramiro Llorienzo charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Llorienzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Ramiro Llorienzo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Atlético Nuevo Laredo booed when GIOVANNI DZIADZIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Cwojdak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of GIOVANNI DZIADZIA booed when Atlético Nuevo Laredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Llorienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jeremias Ramone came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Atlético Nuevo Laredo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Ramone couldn't finish the play. Atlético Nuevo Laredo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
