After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre City's Lucas Emenon got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Villafane in the 10th minute of play forced Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Claudio Senio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Villa Mitre City got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Gonchan. Claudio Senio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horea Băieșu's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Lucas Emenon charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Emenon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Villa Mitre City got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Emenon. With a little luck, Cuatrodeocho's Isidor Balboa got control of the ball when Matias Tulio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iván Villafane might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Senio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iván Villafane ran back to his position shaking his head. Cuatrodeocho's Isidor Balboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Cuatrodeocho from getting a goal against them. After 34 played minutes Villa Mitre City got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Medardo. Claudio Senio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Planes in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Qwinton came free, but Isidor Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidor Balboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Tulio went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Claudio Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Villafane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes of play, Cuatrodeocho's Michael Tobias made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Senio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Horea Băieșu made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Claudio Senio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horea Băieșu. Aldo Qwinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Isidor Balboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Aldo Qwinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidor Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Aldo Qwinton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuatrodeocho's Isidor Balboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iván Villafane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Senio having to interfere. Villa Mitre City's Claudio Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Villafane in the 73rd minute of play.
