After 29 minutes of play, Piotrków Trybunalski's Kacper Domala made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Pirmin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Piotrków Trybunalski's Boleslaw Rydzyk got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualterio Niguel got free with Leon Mentus in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Piotrków Trybunalski getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Aureliusz Fronczak hit a great ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualterio Niguel to strike the kick off in the second half. Leon Mentus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Niguel's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Leon Mentus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Niguel in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Niguel in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Mentus saved Piotrków Trybunalski from getting behind. In the 60th minute Gualterio Niguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Mentus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Jacobo Rameriz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon Mentus. Piotrków Trybunalski's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Rameriz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 69 minutes into the game, Kacper Domala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piotrków Trybunalski's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Medievales the free kick. A collision led to Piotrków Trybunalski getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kacper Domala hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Gualterio Niguel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Mentus was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Leon Mentus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Niguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piotrków Trybunalski's Leon Mentus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Niguel in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Piotrków Trybunalski's Kacper Domala dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Antoni Falke charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoni Falke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Piotrków Trybunalski got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Falke. After 84 played minutes, Deportivo Medievales's Clemente Mino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leon Mentus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Medievales reached it. The supporters of Deportivo Medievales booed when Piotrków Trybunalski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Falke didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Gualterio Niguel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Mentus skillfully saved the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Piotrków Trybunalski's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Niguel came free, but Leon Mentus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Medievales fans cheered their team off the field, for while Piotrków Trybunalski had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
