The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sidney Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Brodel in the 8th minute of play. Renatinho Braga struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Alisson Becker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvinegro de Tupã. If Francisco Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Alvinegro de Tupã was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Garcia to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Bueno came free, but Sidney Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jano Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Campidelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Machado in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elivélton Maia during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elivélton Maia hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alvinegro de Tupã getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. José Vítor de Sena hit a great ball. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Edinho Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the game, Jonas Machado landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Anderson Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvinegro de Tupã's protests and gave Anderson Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes Alvinegro de Tupã got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Tavares. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvaldo Pinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Sidney Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Bueno came free, but Sidney Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61st play minutes Edinho Bueno shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Sidney Campidelis and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvinegro de Tupã's goalkeeper Sidney Campidelis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Dedé Brodel notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Alvinegro de Tupã's Sidney Campidelis. Sidney Campidelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sidney Campidelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edinho Bueno went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute Edinho Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmílson Cordeiro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Alvinegro de Tupã's Sidney Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvaldo Pinho in the 81st minute of play. When Dedé Brodel fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's protests and gave Dedé Brodel a yellow card for diving instead. 88 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Sidney Campidelis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, Ezequiel Linares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sidney Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
