Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Matungo Gaúcho's Benedito Cardozo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dário da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Beto Acosta sent off a good shot on target. Julian Urki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dário da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Urki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beto Acosta came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dário da Cunha could save by the left post. Julian Urki charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Urki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justo Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Oliveira in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Julian Urki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Pantera Azulgrana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Sixto Baldovino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dário da Cunha. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. If Betão de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Dário da Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Acosta. La Pantera Azulgrana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herminio Rodriguez in the 33rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Manuel Erramun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dário da Cunha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35th minute, Julian Urki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dário da Cunha. The goal made the score 3-0. Dário da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Urki in the 40th minute of the match. When Herminio Rodriguez fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Pantera Azulgrana's protests and gave Herminio Rodriguez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Herminio Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Andrézinho Oliveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justo Karmel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Matungo Gaúcho's Dário da Cunha got control of the ball when Beto Acosta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Julian Urki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dário da Cunha, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

53 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Schmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matungo Gaúcho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Pantera Azulgrana the free kick. After 53 played minutes Matungo Gaúcho got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Schmidt. After 57 played minutes La Pantera Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Julian Urki. Herminio Rodriguez hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The long shot by Andrézinho Oliveira in the 59th minute really tested Justo Karmel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 60 minutes into the game, Beto Acosta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dário da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dário da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Acosta in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Tadeu Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Herminio Rodriguez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dário da Cunha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dário da Cunha came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by La Pantera Azulgrana's Julian Urki. But to his dismay, Julian Urki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 99th minute Beto Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
