Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martin Bolin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Sylvan Baggio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Martin Bolin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frits van Loo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 10 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Ekström. Karl-Magnus Anundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerjan Staarman in the 13th minute of play. After 15 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Gerjan Staarman. In the 22nd minute Jean-Paul Schuiling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Magnus Anundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Martin Bolin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frits van Loo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 29 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Bombarda came free, but Karl-Magnus Anundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Magnus Anundsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sunkens Surtröjor's Malte Gerdberg got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Gertjan Baars cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Karl-Magnus Anundsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to SV Wissenkerke getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mariano Bombarda hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SV Wissenkerke defense, Martin Bolin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frits van Loo. The SV Wissenkerke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frits van Loo should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Paul Schuiling was the one to do the kick off. After 61 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Folke Frisk. Sunkens Surtröjor's Martin Bolin got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sunkens Surtröjor's Niklas Ekström got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gertjan Baars got free with Karl-Magnus Anundsson in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 minutes, Gertjan Baars mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Wissenkerke and the Sunkens Surtröjor players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SV Wissenkerke getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gertjan Baars hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
