In the 8thth minute of the game Andrej Vindar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Pantera Azulgrana's Justo Karmel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Beto Acosta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Veselko Recko. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to NK FOLKROLA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Josip Ilič hit a great ball. La Pantera Azulgrana's Justo Karmel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrej Vindar in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Slavoljub Bukovec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justo Karmel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of La Pantera Azulgrana booed when NK FOLKROLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jožek Puš didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrej Vindar scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Karmel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 1-3 became the score in the 38th minute when Andrej Vindar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, La Pantera Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Vindar came free, but Justo Karmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrej Vindar in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half NK FOLKROLA were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beto Acosta was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Beto Acosta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Pantera Azulgrana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK FOLKROLA the free kick. 60 minutes into the match, NK FOLKROLA's Andrej Vindar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justo Karmel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justo Karmel stood somewhat misplaced when Andrej Vindar came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 62 minute. If Zvonko Medved had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Slavoljub Bukovec took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Justo Karmel to make any attempt to save it. In the 76th minute, Andres Cristofol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Justo Karmel managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when NK FOLKROLA's Andrej Vindar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Urki in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veselko Recko saved NK FOLKROLA from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Josip Ilič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josip Ilič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mujo Tavčar during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mujo Tavčar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, La Pantera Azulgrana's Beto Acosta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Veselko Recko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5.
