After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Jarbas Pombal got a free kick in the 6th minute. Flogo FF's Jan-Aage Eklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Flogo FF from getting a goal against them. Ørjan Moen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Donatello having to interfere. Jan-Aage Eklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuseppe de Souza went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 23 minutes, Svend Havn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flogo FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svend Havn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Aage Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ørjan Moen in the 26th minute of play. Giuseppe de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Jan-Aage Eklund was a little too slow when Jarbas Pombal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Jan-Aage Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Valverde in the 33rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Reko-Recko 03™'s zone, Ørjan Moen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Donatello came out of the goal and Ørjan Moen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jim-André Natvig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Donatello having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svend Havn was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Reko-Recko 03™'s Carlos Eduardo Donatello got control of the ball when Svend Havn tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd play minute Svend Havn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Eduardo Donatello. 2-1. With 57 minutes on the clock, Frode Gulli commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Frode Gulli hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Jarbas Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Aage Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Flogo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Butt to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Eliézer Cerezo made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Aage Eklund. Flogo FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The supporters of Flogo FF booed when Reko-Recko 03™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Eduardo Donatello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim-André Natvig in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, Flogo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ådne Roald to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Giuseppe de Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Aage Eklund. Flogo FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe de Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Ørjan Moen hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Jarbas Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Aage Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Flogo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Pombal came free, but Jan-Aage Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Aage Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
