An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Rosa in the 8th minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Stasio Zachemski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Agua Santa's Oséas Trigo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. FC Gdansk36 were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Agua Santa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iggi Kot took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Gdansk36's corner Iggi Kot fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomé Mota quite easily take care of the ball. After 20 minutes, Frank Rosa made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Gdansk36's Stasio Zachemski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomé Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iggi Kot, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iggi Kot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Piotr Kozlowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Tomé Mota however easily saved by the left post. In the 29th minute of the match FC Gdansk36 got a corner. Agua Santa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iggi Kot ran over to the corner to take the kick. Levente Tunyogi made a great header on FC Gdansk36's corner, it was just that Agua Santa's Tomé Mota managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 31st minute Iggi Kot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piotr Kozlowski to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bartlomiej Chmelyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iggi Kot in the 56th minute of play. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Kozlowski in the 57th minute of play. When Ernesto Velloso fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agua Santa's protests and gave Ernesto Velloso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Ernesto Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agua Santa's William Luz was substituted for Fábio Lopez. In the 60th match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Stasio Zachemski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enrique Abreu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 91 minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
