Reko-Recko 03™'s Jonas Tasso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Modesto Bingen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Eduardo Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Skæringur Skaadegaard in the 27th minute of play. Gal Van kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Desfachatados F.C. booed when Reko-Recko 03™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Valverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Skæringur Skaadegaard to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Eliézer Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desfachatados F.C. the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Reko-Recko 03™'s zone, Skæringur Skaadegaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Donatello came out of the goal and Skæringur Skaadegaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 minutes, Amílton do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reko-Recko 03™ and the Desfachatados F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card.
