The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hermano Amaro struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Marcin Bulka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Micaelense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alcides Lobo during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alcides Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Marcin Bulka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermano Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, LEGIA Bielany's goal looked a bit too open when Torcato Paião came free, but Marcin Bulka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Alcides Lobo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcin Bulka. LEGIA Bielany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alcides Lobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Torcato Paião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcin Bulka having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Atlético Micaelense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Ferrão to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Atlético Micaelense getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Torcato Paião hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torcato Paião to make the kick off. After 55 minutes, Stefan Siara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LEGIA Bielany and the Atlético Micaelense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hermano Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Marcin Bulka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Paixão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Siara in the 65th minute. A collision led to LEGIA Bielany getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hans Kloss hit a great ball. Marcin Bulka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alcides Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 84th minute, Duarte Serpa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, LEGIA Bielany's Jurand Spychowski got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Atlético Micaelense got a corner. LEGIA Bielany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hermano Amaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Atlético Micaelense's Hermano Amaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcin Bulka in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to LEGIA Bielany getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Wincent Turek hit a great ball. Marcin Bulka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torcato Paião in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torcato Paião in the 94th minute of play forced LEGIA Bielany's goalkeeper Marcin Bulka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Wincent Turek put in a rough tackle. In the 96th minute, one of LEGIA Bielany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LEGIA Bielany. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Atlético Micaelense. Hermano Amaro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcin Bulka. 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético Micaelense fans cheered their team off the field, for while LEGIA Bielany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
