Flávio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinç Türk in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Leite to maneuver through the defense. Dinç Türks short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Flávio Fantini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞK's Kubilay Sefik got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Kubilay Sefik fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEŞİKTAŞK's protests and gave Kubilay Sefik a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞK got a freekick which was hit by Kubilay Sefik. Mehmet Ali Tongal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Leite in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞK's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Alves came free, but Mehmet Ali Tongal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 27 minutes on the clock, Asaf Mete commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to BEŞİKTAŞK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinç Türk made a kick off. Dinç Türk struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Flávio Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BEŞİKTAŞK. After 52 minutes, Acácio Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C.PAULISTA and the BEŞİKTAŞK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Alves to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, S.C.PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Dinç Türk came free, but Flávio Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinç Türk couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Dinç Türk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flávio Fantini was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Flávio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkan İldeniz in the 77th minute of play. Dinç Türk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergios Ramos during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Alves got free with Mehmet Ali Tongal in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Dinç Türk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flávio Fantini was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Dinç Türk sped through S.C.PAULISTA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flávio Fantini. In the 96thth minute of the game Dinç Türk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BEŞİKTAŞK had played much better football throughout.
