If Ludomir Zacharek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drini Kapaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Kasiewski in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Mali i Thatë FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Sefedin Gjyle hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Ludomir Zacharek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GKS Katowice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Ludomir Zacharek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Eneid Ilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betão Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lirim Osja, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Mali i Thatë FC's Sefedin Gjyle got a free kick in the 17th minute. Drini Kapaj made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ludomir Zacharek sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Cezary Kasiewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Drini Kapaj. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th minute, Eneid Ilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão Pontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 36th minute, Lirim Osja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mali i Thatë FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eneid Ilo in the 46th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GKS Katowice made a substitution. Lucjan Werra replaced Ludomir Zacharek. Olgierd Cwojdak kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 3-4 lead.

In the 54th minute, GKS Katowice's Konrad Komanski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Konrad Komanski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GKS Katowice protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Konrad Komanski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 53rd minute, one of GKS Katowice:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GKS Katowice. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Mali i Thatë FC. Vlash Xhaferri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Betão Pontes. 3-5. If Lucjan Werra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Meleq Tare threw the ball into play from the sideline. GKS Katowice's Olgierd Cwojdak quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lucjan Werra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Mali i Thatë FC's Betão Pontes threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eneid Ilo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sefedin Gjyle made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GKS Katowice's Olgierd Cwojdak. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eneid Ilo got free with Betão Pontes in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mali i Thatë FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Mali i Thatë FC:s Drini Kapaj showed great skill when he stopped Dominik Brysz:s penalty. Drini Kapaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Werra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lirim Osja did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-7 to the left of a surprised Betão Pontes 89 minutes into the match. Olgierd Cwojdak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Sefedin Gjyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lirim Osja got free with Betão Pontes in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sefedin Gjyle's late challenge caught a GKS Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sefedin Gjyle helped the player get up and apologised. Sefedin Gjyle kicked well hit freekick during the 101st minute of the match. Lucjan Werra took the ball and in the 102 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Drini Kapaj. Drini Kapaj dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-7. The GKS Katowice supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mali i Thatë FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mali i Thatë FC.
