Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Åsnes's Jonathan Vie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to ROJO getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Evaristo Tristan hit a great ball. After 8 minutes of play, ROJO's Pahom Kanokov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christer Waaler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Åsnes's Christer Waaler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Åsnes from getting a goal against them. When Åsnes's Jonathan Vie in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ROJO's goalie prevented a goal. Aldo Kaxen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Kristian Fosse, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Kenneth Leidland got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aldo Kaxen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Ødegaard during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Dan Ødegaard. 30 minutes into the game, Tor-Kristian Fosse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsnes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROJO the free kick. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Tor-Kristian Fosse got a free kick in the 30th minute. Åsnes's Kristian Sandersen got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Åsnes's Tor-Kristian Fosse got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Tor-Kristian Fosse off the ground. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Tor-Kristian Fosse got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Huijsmans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Tymoteusz Byczewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Waaler. Åsnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tymoteusz Byczewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 57 played minutes ROJO got a freekick which was hit by Pahom Kanokov. After some careless play in the Åsnes defense, Jan Huijsmans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christer Waaler. The Åsnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Waaler should have stopped the shot. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Byczewski in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes in the game, Tymoteusz Byczewski dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 75th minute, Steffen Askvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pahom Kanokov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Panpili hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jonathan Vie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tymoteusz Byczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Waaler having to interfere. Åsnes's Christer Waaler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Huijsmans in the 85th minute of play. Jonathan Vie's late challenge caught a ROJO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Vie helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Vie. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ROJO had played much better football throughout.
