Cesare Di Loreto hit a great ball. In the 4th minute of the match, Theofilos Kaplanopoulos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anthony Volpe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ booed when Squadra de Pippe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Marini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giorgos Keris did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Anthony Volpe 21 minutes into the match. Augusto Marini was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Squadra de Pippe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alexis Kefaloukos hit a great ball. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Theocharis Aggellakis in the 34th minute. A nice corner shot did that Theocharis Aggellakis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anthony Volpe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Theocharis Aggellakis in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Squadra de Pippe's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Giorgos Keris kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anthony Volpe. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. Anthony Volpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theofilos Kaplanopoulos in the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Fanis Chrysafis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Anthony Volpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthony Volpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koulis Kourdos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Andrea Cianci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Theofilos Kaplanopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofilos Kaplanopoulos in the 64th minute of play forced Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Anthony Volpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thodoris Negris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthony Volpe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 76th minute Fanis Chrysafis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Volpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
