Zacarías Camus's late challenge caught a Squadra de Pippe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarías Camus helped the player get up and apologised. Zacarías Camus kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Manuel Rodríguez 1186's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Barchiesi came free, but Vladimiro Dueñas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Dueñas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Damiani in the 38th minute of play. Maurilio Catrileo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthony Volpe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Manuel Rodríguez 1186 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurilio Catrileo made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Squadra de Pippe's Cesare Di Loreto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Dueñas was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alfonso Damiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Alfonso Damiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Dueñas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Dueñas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Barchiesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Squadra de Pippe's Anthony Volpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Squadra de Pippe from getting a goal against them. Squadra de Pippe's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
