Theofilos Kaplanopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Giorgos Keris got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Koulis Kourdos hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Argentinos Juniors's Santiago Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Keris in the 11th minute of play. Santiago Demario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giorgos Keris went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofilos Kaplanopoulos in the 14th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Santiago Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Theocharis Aggellakis in the 17th minute. The corner ended in Theocharis Aggellakis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Argentinos Juniors's Santiago Demario did a great save. If Giorgos Keris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Koulis Kourdos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Demario. Argentinos Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koulis Kourdos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Achilleas Mavilis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Keris came free, but Santiago Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Argentinos Juniors's Santiago Demario got control of the ball when Giorgos Keris tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giorgos Keris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Santiago Demario made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Argentinos Juniors's Timoteo Gonzo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Giorgos Keris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Santiago Demario made a huge save. Theocharis Aggellakis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Santiago Demario successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Theofilos Kaplanopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Santiago Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fanis Chrysafis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Giorgos Keris lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Santiago Demario. Santiago Demario made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Giorgos Keris sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Theofilos Kaplanopoulos got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 96th minute of the match ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a corner. Argentinos Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Theocharis Aggellakis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's corner Theocharis Aggellakis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Santiago Demario quite easily take care of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Theocharis Aggellakis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Santiago Demario quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match was over ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Argentinos Juniors throughout the match.
