The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Myggenäs IFK got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Andreasson. 3 minutes into the game, Wilfried Lépinay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Conny Mattsson. Wilfried Lépinay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustave Pierrel got free with Conny Mattsson in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joey Weill's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Conny Mattsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. 2-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Thierry Henri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Conny Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thierry Henri in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Wilfried Lépinay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conny Mattsson. Myggenäs IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfried Lépinay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 18th minute, Les diables noirs's Thierry Henri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Myggenäs IFK's Conny Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Lépinay in the 21st minute of play. Myggenäs IFK's Conny Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Myggenäs IFK from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Moïse Ganivet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les diables noirs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 37th minute, Les diables noirs's Thierry Henri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Conny Mattsson. Conny Mattsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. In the 41st minute Thierry Henri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conny Mattsson was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Moïse Ganivet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moïse Ganivet really showed his touch with that goal: 8-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.
Thierry Henri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Conny Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moïse Ganivet in the 55th minute of play forced Myggenäs IFK's goalkeeper Conny Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Les diables noirs's Thierry Henri made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conny Mattsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Conny Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustave Pierrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Gustave Pierrel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les diables noirs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. If Stellan Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Les diables noirs's Eymeric Laguerre got a free kick in the 66th minute. Conny Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfried Lépinay, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Conny Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustave Pierrel in the 69th minute of the match. Conny Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thierry Henri in the 70th minute of play. After some careless play in the Myggenäs IFK defense, Thierry Henri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conny Mattsson. The Myggenäs IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conny Mattsson should have stopped the shot. Conny Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Myggenäs IFK were furious when Niclas Ånger was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 95th match minute, Myggenäs IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niclas Ånger to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Camille Thiéblemont sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conny Mattsson skillfully saved the ball. When the referee ended the match the Les diables noirs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
