Karol Kopacz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floripa Lions FSCMZ. André Luiz Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Hélder Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Aleksander Bykowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gortaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Bykowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Siembab, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiktor Pionek during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Batista was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Siqueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the game, Gortaty's Franciszek Wicherek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Siqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 90th minute, Radowit Siedlecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
