Romain Labrouche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Ramos's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The supporters of Airborne FC booed when Flamenco United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Depelsmaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Alberto Arruda struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Romain Labrouche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Airborne FC. Hélio Terra in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romain Labrouche, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Flamenco United's zone, Patrick Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romain Labrouche came out of the goal and Patrick Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Airborne FC's Alexsandro Simões got a free kick in the 16th minute. Dênis Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Patrick Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romain Labrouche. Flamenco United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Flamenco United's zone, Carlos Alberto Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romain Labrouche came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Patrick Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romain Labrouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Marten De Hond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flamenco United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Patrick Ramos scored to the left of an out of position Romain Labrouche, making the score, 2-0. When Hélio Terra fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Airborne FC's protests and gave Hélio Terra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Airborne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Terra to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Kléberson Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marten De Hond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino de Queiroz having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marten De Hond to make the kick off. Patrick Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Romain Labrouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romain Labrouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Terra in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Airborne FC's Patrick Ramos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Patrick Ramos fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Romain Labrouche. After 64 played minutes Airborne FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Madureira. Diamantino de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Van Eijken, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Patrick Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamenco United's Romain Labrouche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Hélio Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Flamenco United's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Terra came free, but Romain Labrouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marten De Hond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino de Queiroz having to interfere. Patrick Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Romain Labrouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marten De Hond in the 96th minute of the match. Airborne FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
