Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sixto Vincent started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Sixto Vincent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil de Medeiros was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The El Millo de Haedo fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when El Millo de Haedo's Sixto Vincent looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 8th minute, Sixto Vincent made a precise shot to the right of Gil de Medeiros. Nautilus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 11th minute, Sixto Vincent ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil de Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Sixto Vincent sped through Nautilus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gil de Medeiros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aytuğ Erdursun in the 23rd minute of play forced Nautilus's goalkeeper Gil de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sixto Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Millo de Haedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Vincent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Olguín recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Sixto Vincent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nautilus's Gil de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gil de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytuğ Erdursun in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Sixto Vincent put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Gil de Medeiros. 41 minutes into the match, Nautilus's goal looked a bit too open when Aytuğ Erdursun came free, but Gil de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sixto Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Oto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gil de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Vincent in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Olguín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil de Medeiros having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gil de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Sixto Vincent sent off a good shot on target. Sixto Vincent might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil de Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Vincent ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Vincent in the 59th minute of play forced Nautilus's goalkeeper Gil de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. El Millo de Haedo's Jorge Olguín got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Nautilus's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Oto came free, but Gil de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nautilus's Gil de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Olguín in the 75th minute of play. Sixto Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil de Medeiros having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Vincent got free with Gil de Medeiros in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixto Vincent's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Gil de Medeiros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 83 minutes into the match, Nautilus's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Olguín came free, but Gil de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nautilus's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sixto Vincent 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Sixto Vincent kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gil de Medeiros. That made the score 0-12 in the 87 minute of play. After 93rd play minutes Sixto Vincent shot 0-13, a short shot which went by Gil de Medeiros and just under the crossbar into goal.
