Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geovanni Cordeiro kicked off to start the match. Edmundo Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Murilo Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Millo de Haedo the free kick. El Millo de Haedo's Casimiro Ortle was substituted for Jorge Olguín. Martin Berbiz charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Berbiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martin Berbiz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Aytuğ Erdursun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wolf's Edmundo Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wolf's Edmundo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytuğ Erdursun in the 21st minute of play. El Millo de Haedo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lázaro Oto in the 22nd minute. El Millo de Haedo's Lázaro Oto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmundo Catarinense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When El Millo de Haedo's Aytuğ Erdursun in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Murilo Monteiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 33rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Wolf getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Murilo Monteiro hit a great ball. Daniel Pereyra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aytuğ Erdursun took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Catarinense. Edmundo Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Aytuğ Erdursun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aytuğ Erdursun made a kick off. Aytuğ Erdursuns short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Edmundo Catarinense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 56th match minute, El Millo de Haedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Rosio to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Eusko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseu Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. El Millo de Haedo's Aytuğ Erdursun came free and shot a quick shot against goal 66 minutes in the game, fortunately Edmundo Catarinense had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Wolf's zone, Casimiro Ortle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo Catarinense came out of the goal and Casimiro Ortle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Wolf's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Pereyra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
