Jacinto Txanton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gil de Medeiros made a huge save. Nautilus's Gil de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Nautilus from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the game, Jacinto Txanton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gil de Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 48th minute Abelardo Ermengol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Ferreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BAIRES's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Txanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of BAIRES booed when Nautilus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position.
