When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Ntinos Kyzeridis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Almiro Benevides to make any attempt to save it. In the 9th minute, Christos Kareklidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stars Academy's Almiro Benevides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Stars Academy from getting a goal against them. Almiro Benevides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christos Kareklidis in the 16th minute. Abílio Barata hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to Trifillia.FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Christos Kareklidis hit a great ball. Antero Rebocho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almiro Benevides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makis Chiotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Almiro Benevides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Markos Pittarakis went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Markos Pittarakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Almiro Benevides came out and tried to block the shot, but Markos Pittarakis slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 35th minute. The supporters of Stars Academy booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aggelos Balafas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antero Rebocho came free, but Panagiotis Kolleris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aggelos Balafas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Almiro Benevides made a huge save. Stars Academy's Almiro Benevides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Makis Chiotis in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amado Leite made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Markos Pittarakis made a precise shot to the right of Almiro Benevides. Stars Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Almiro Benevides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markos Pittarakis in the 60th minute of play. Thodoris Mavromatakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Almiro Benevides. Stars Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Almiro Benevides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Markos Pittarakis went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Aggelos Balafas took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Almiro Benevides. Almiro Benevides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 78th minute, João Camacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes, Grigoris Tzorvas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trifillia.FC and the Stars Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Kareklidis to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Abílio Barata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Trifillia.FC had played much better football throughout.
