The audience thought a goal was coming when Justo Roldanillo got free with Eliseu Negri in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Donato Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's Alexandros Pantazakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Ishmael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandros Pantazakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Ishmael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandros Pantazakos in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Ishmael saved Curumalán AFC from getting behind. Amado Ishmael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Patricio Alfonso in the 36th minute really tested Eliseu Negri's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 37 minutes into the game, Cauã Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Loser FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curumalán AFC the free kick. After 37 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Vianna. Curumalán AFC's Diego Chorche got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Chorche made a kick off. Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Estefan, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match, Hernani Ramos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amado Ishmael saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 63 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Rosa. In the 70th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Quirino to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Erik Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Cordarrell in the 78th minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play New Loser FC's Cauã Vianna was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cauã Vianna hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of New Loser FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Curumalán AFC side.
