New Loser FC's Alexandros Pantazakos got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandrie CF's Gabin Françoise proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Alexandrie CF from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute of the match Alexandrie CF got a corner. New Loser FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaël Pouchin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Alexandrie CF's corner Gaël Pouchin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eliseu Negri quite easily take care of the ball. Sydney Silva hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ívan James managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandrie CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ívan James was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Negri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandros Pantazakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabin Françoise made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandros Pantazakos in the 21st minute. Gabin Françoise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Pantazakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Alexandros Pantazakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabin Françoise having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Ívan James cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gabin Françoise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, one of New Loser FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Alexandrie CF a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaël Pouchin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri. 0-2. After 47 minutes New Loser FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaël Pouchin who took care of the corner kick. Marcel Rosa thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Eliseu Negri, a very annoying self made goal in the 47th minute which led to 0-3. After the first half Alexandrie CF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gabin Françoise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Aírton Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandrie CF's Fábio Cardoso was substituted for Dimitri Goudard. After 71 minutes, Gaël Pouchin mouthed his way into the referee's book. Ívan James scored 1-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Negri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandrie CF's Gabin Françoise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Messias in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Aírton Quirino hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Charles Bizet in the 97th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Alexandrie CF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New Loser FC.
