Diego Chorche started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Oliviero Bermejo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus FC and the Curumalán AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliviero Bermejo to maneuver through the defense. Mansour Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Quinto in the 3rd minute. Mansour Trezeguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Ishmael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansour Trezeguet in the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Mansour Cannavaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mansour Cannavaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Alfonso hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Mansour Cannavaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mansour Trezeguet in the 29th minute of play. The Juventus FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Juventus FC's Mansour Trezeguet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 35th minute Mansour Cannavaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Ishmael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Curumalán AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hipolito Serafo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Curumalán AFC's zone, Mansour Trezeguet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Ishmael came out of the goal and Mansour Trezeguet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Cordarrell's late challenge caught a Juventus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Cordarrell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Eduardo Cordarrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Esteban Cambiasso fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curumalán AFC's protests and gave Esteban Cambiasso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Curumalán AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Esteban Cambiasso hit a great ball. After the first half Juventus FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mansour Trezeguet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amado Ishmael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mansour Trezeguet in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Juventus FC's Mansour Cannavaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amado Ishmael. Amado Ishmael yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Mansour Trezeguet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Ishmael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Diego Chorche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventus FC's Mansour Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mansour Trezeguet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amado Ishmael came out and tried to block the shot, but Mansour Trezeguet slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 61st minute. In the 70th match minute, Curumalán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Cordarrell to maneuver through the defense. Juventus FC made a substitution. Santos Albizua replaced Igor Zubeldia. After a rather tough play, Curumalán AFC's Eduardo Cordarrell got a free kick in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Chorche during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Chorche. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mansour Trezeguet in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Ishmael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abarrotz Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Ishmael having to interfere. The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berto Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Amado Ishmael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mansour Trezeguet. Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mansour Trezeguet in the 85th minute of play. Mansour Trezeguet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Amado Ishmael made a huge save. After having played for 87 minutes, Abarrotz Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abarrotz Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Berto Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mansour Trezeguet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Ishmael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Juventus FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
