The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Charles Bizet during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dumitru Mavrogheni took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabin Françoise. Gabin Françoise dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Gelu Pașcalău was a little too slow when Ívan James got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 3-2. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Claudio Ramos hit a great ball. Alexandrie CF's Gabin Françoise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Hrean in the 39th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Jean-Charles Bizet made a precise shot to the right of Gelu Pașcalău. Club Vertigo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dumitru Mavrogheni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ştefan Panțuru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabin Françoise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
