Amado Ishmael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Guter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Erruki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Chorche in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Curumalán AFC's Santo Astrada got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the INTER de Córdoba defense, Cristian Quinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Erruki. The INTER de Córdoba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Erruki should have stopped the shot. In the 18thth minute of the game Cristian Quinto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTER de Córdoba's Aquiles Erruki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Diego Chorche notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of INTER de Córdoba's Aquiles Erruki. Aquiles Erruki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, Diego Chorche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Erruki. INTER de Córdoba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Chorche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 26 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Cambiasso. In the 28th minute, Cristian Quinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Erruki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a rather tough play, INTER de Córdoba's Laureano Acevedo got a free kick in the 34th minute. Diego Chorche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Aquiles Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Lesardo lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of INTER de Córdoba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Curumalán AFC:s goal. INTER de Córdoba:s Aquiles Erruki showed great skill when he stopped Hernán Losada:s penalty. Hernán Losada scored 0-5 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquiles Erruki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Erruki having to interfere. Curumalán AFC's Esteban Cambiasso got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Cambiasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aquiles Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Guido Christobal fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER de Córdoba's protests and gave Guido Christobal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when INTER de Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Christobal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curumalán AFC's Eduardo Cordarrell was substituted for Cristian Quinto. In the 49th match minute, INTER de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Christobal to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Diego Chorche made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of INTER de Córdoba booed when Curumalán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Serafo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Ariel Estefan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquiles Erruki, 0-7. With an all-out effort, Curumalán AFC's Aquiles Erruki threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego Chorche, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 70 minutes into the game, Ariel Estefan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Aquiles Erruki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aquiles Erruki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Estefan in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Diego Chorche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Diego Chorche dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquiles Erruki, 0-10. After a defensive mix-up in INTER de Córdoba's zone, Eduardo Cordarrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Erruki came out of the goal and Eduardo Cordarrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. INTER de Córdoba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Eduardo Cordarrell scored to the left of an out of position Aquiles Erruki, making the score, 0-11. When the match was over Curumalán AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than INTER de Córdoba throughout the match.
