In the 3rd minute, Gabriel Hrean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes Ştefan Panțuru rounded Riquelme Fútbol Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Riquelme Fútbol Club's Benedicto Guifre pulled a muscle in his leg after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Club Vertigo's Gabriel Hrean got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Gelu Pașcalău, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Riquelme Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Cefero. Club Vertigo were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Riquelme Fútbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filip Bocșa took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Nistor Iftimescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Riquelme Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Salvi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Meder scored 2-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gelu Pașcalău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dumitru Mavrogheni in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Atila Edu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Club Vertigo's Gelu Pașcalău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Meder in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Salvi in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gelu Pașcalău saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. Club Vertigo's Ştefan Panțuru got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Dumitru Mavrogheni made the kick off in the second half. Atila Edu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ştefan Panțuru's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Paulo Cefero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gelu Pașcalău came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Cefero slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 63rd minute. Filip Bocșa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Eduardo Salvi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Gelu Pașcalău didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riquelme Fútbol Club. In the 73rd minute, Pablo Meder reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gelu Pașcalău. The goal made the score 2-3. 78 minutes into the match, Riquelme Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Panțuru came free, but Atila Edu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Riquelme Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Riquelme Fútbol Club's Pablo Meder in 83 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Gelu Pașcalău guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Riquelme Fútbol Club's Atila Edu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Panțuru in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's Ştefan Panțuru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atila Edu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Vertigo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Pablo Meder scored to the left of an out of position Gelu Pașcalău, making the score, 2-4. Pablo Meder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gelu Pașcalău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Club Vertigo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Riquelme Fútbol Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Riquelme Fútbol Club.
